What is IFS Therapy?

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a respectful and empowering approach to therapy that helps you understand the many “parts” within yourself—like the inner critic, the anxious part, or the part that wants to avoid pain. IFS teaches that these parts are not bad or broken, but rather trying to help and protect you in the best way they know how. At the heart of this work is your “Self”—the calm, compassionate, confident core of who you are. IFS helps you reconnect with that Self and bring healing to your internal system.
